The Music of Chaometry

Craig J. Martinez - Vocals

Craig's musical journey began at age 7. Inspired by an uncle who had been a touring musician, Craig decided early on that he too wanted to be a musician and after several years of studying the percussive arts began performing as the drummer with several acts in the Chicago music scene. At age 18 one of those acts had afforded him a chance to exercise his vocal abilities few knew he possessed. After he had been offered a spot at the front of the stage, he quickly discovered another passion, singer/songwriter. Craig's style is an amalgamation of Rock & Classical music, two of the most influential styles of his musical life. In January of 2011 Craig was offered the Lead Vocalist position for Chaometry. The mutual passion for Progressive Rock between Craig & his Chaometry bandmates has allowed him to bring his influence to Chaometry as the voice of an already powerful sound.
